Yuuki Wakura

Yuuki Wakura is the protagonist of Chained Soldier, an ordinary teenager whose life is upended when he accidentally wanders through a portal into Mato — an alternate dimension overrun by monstrous Shuuki — and is rescued by Kyouka Uzen, commander of the Mato Defense Force's 7th Squad.

Role in the story

Unlike the superpowered women who make up the Mato Defense Force's front line against the Shuuki, Yuuki has no powers of his own. Kyouka's ability transforms him into her "combat slave," bound to her through a collar-based contract that lets him fight alongside the Force despite lacking the abilities that everyone else in this world relies on.
